About Me:: I've had a passion for photography for over 15 years. It all started when I took a black & white photo class in college. Once the semester was over, I was hooked for life. I then began to dabble in the art of photo retouching back when Photoshop first came out. I enjoyed manipulating photos so much that I eventually made a business of it. I continue to enjoy occasional photo outings with friends. Once in awhile when I have time, I will come up with an interesting photo manipulation for fun. Which individual or group inspires you the most?: I've been inspired by many throughout my life, but one artist by the name of Scott Mutter taught me to look at life through a different window. For thirty years, Scott Mutter had employed a classic photomontage of techniques to create a world of his own -- a more perfect world. The hallmark of Mutter's remarkable imagery is the distinct sense that the elements of each picture belong together, even though the combination may violate the laws of physics. These photographs, which Scott called "Surrational Images," have a poetic quality that invites highly personal interpretations. They are provocative as well as evocative.
From where do you draw your inspiration?: I draw my inspiration from life. I'm a strong believer that we only live once and we must enjoy and be greatful for the little things in our lives. We've all heard the phrase "You Should Stop and Smell the Roses", well it's very true. Everyday I look at my surroundings and enjoy the gifts that nature has given to us. When I wake up in the morning, I look at life like a blank canvas, what is mother nature going to paint for me today.

It is a Pleasure to meet you. Thank you for stopping by my site and your comments. Interacting with members is great way to meet new and talented folks out there and sometimes a project will Pop up that can be very exciting ...... will tell you more about an experience I had on a Music Site I am a member of down the road some time. I am an older guy ..... just turned 63 on 1/11 and have had a very interesting Life in the world of Art / Faux Finishes / Sign Painting / Music / Photography / and Video plus a few other mediums I have had the pleasure of working with. I am like a Sponge and want to do it all. But as you know ... Time seems to fly by the older we get and it makes it harder to do it all ..... LOL One thing I can say though is I am never bored...... :-) Anyway ...... I am off to look at your work here so again .... Thanks for stopping by ...... it is appreciated.
